Northridge Golf Resort Code of Conduct 1. General Behaviour 1.1 Respect for Others All players, staff, and visitors should treat each other with respect and courtesy at all times. Offensive language, discrimination, harassment, and bullying are strictly prohibited. 1.2 Adherence to Rules and Regulations All users must adhere to the rules and regulations of the golf course, as well as any posted notices or instructions from staff. 1.3 Safety First Always prioritize safety by being aware of your surroundings, using equipment responsibly, and reporting any hazards or incidents to staff immediately. 1.4 Alcohol and Substance Use Consumption of alcohol is allowed only in designated areas. Illegal substances are strictly prohibited on the premises. 1.5 Dress Code Proper golf attire is required on the course. This includes collared shirts, appropriate footwear, and no denim. All players must adhere to the dress code. 2. Golfing Etiquette 2.1 Tee Time Punctuality Arrive at least 15 minutes before your scheduled tee time. If you cannot make your tee time, notify the club in advance. 2.2 Pace of Play Maintain a reasonable pace of play. Allow faster groups to play through if you are holding them up. 2.3 Respect for the Course Repair divots, ball marks on the green, and rake bunkers after use. Avoid causing unnecessary damage to the course. 2.4 Equipment Use Only use equipment in designated areas and handle it with care. Ensure that carts are driven responsibly and stay on designated paths. 2.5 Course Maintenance Follow any instructions from groundskeepers and staff to facilitate course maintenance and improvement efforts. 3. Interaction with Staff and Other Players 3.1 Professional Conduct Treat all staff and other players with professionalism and respect. Refrain from disruptive behaviour, including shouting or inappropriate gestures. 3.2 Conflict Resolution In the event of a disagreement, address it calmly and respectfully. If necessary, seek assistance from course staff to resolve the issue. 3.3 Feedback and Complaints Provide constructive feedback and report any issues or concerns to the management in a respectful and timely manner. 4. Environmental Stewardship 4.1 Littering Dispose of all trash and recyclables in designated bins. Do not litter on the course or surrounding areas. 4.2 Wildlife Respect Do not disturb wildlife on the course. Avoid feeding animals and respect their habitats. 4.3 Sustainable Practices Use water and other resources responsibly. Support and participate in any sustainability initiatives promoted by the course. 5. Compliance and Consequences 5.1 Adherence to Local Laws Abide by all local, state, and federal laws while on the premises. 5.2 Disciplinary Actions Failure to comply with this code of conduct may result in warnings, suspension of privileges, or expulsion from the course, depending on the severity of the violation. 5.3 Appeals Process Individuals who feel they have been unfairly disciplined can appeal the decision to course management in writing within 7 days of the incident. 6. Additional Guidelines 6.1 Junior Golfers Junior golfers must be supervised by an adult and adhere to all course rules and guidelines. 6.2 Tournament Conduct Participants in tournaments must follow additional rules specific to the event and respect the decisions of tournament officials. 6.3 Member Responsibilities Members should act as role models, promoting a positive and respectful environment and assisting in the enforcement of this code of conduct. By adhering to this code of conduct, all users of the golf course contribute to a positive experience for everyone and help maintain the course's standards and reputation.
